The SITI Big Quiz Thing

Celebrate the end of 2020 and all that SITI has accomplished this year with this unique community experience!
SITI is thrilled to partner with Big Quiz Thing to present a special SITI- and theatre-themed trivia event for our community! Form teams with your fellow “Friends of SITI”, show off your trivia skills to earn points, and compete to win special prizes!
This event will be a celebration of surviving 2020 with SITI Socials, Day One and Virtual Trainings, new virtual projects in Work/Space, and the SITI Legacy Plan announcement. All proceeds will support training, productions and archive work in 2021. We hope you will be able to join us!
How It Works:
The SITI Big Quiz Thing will take place via Zoom. All participants will join the Zoom room and compete in teams ranging from two to eight individuals. Each team will have a “Captain” who will be responsible for answering questions on behalf of the team. Each team will be responsible for organizing how they communicate within their team; examples include a Google Hangout, a Group Facetime, or Group Chat (via iMessage, What’sApp, Slack, etc.).
There will be two regular rounds and one “lightning round” of questions, and each round will include several questions. Team Captains submit answers for their team via a special link provided by Big Quiz Thing. Teams who answer correctly will receive points for their answer. Teams who don’t know the correct answer can submit a silly incorrect answer for a chance to receive “Smart Ass Points”, which count towards their overall team score.
After these three rounds, the top three scoring teams will have their respective team captains showdown in the “Buzzertastic Finale”. The winning team or teams will receive special prizes curated by SITI Company!
A note on teams: The SITI Big Quiz Thing is a team-based activity. Teams can consist of two (2) to eight (8) individuals and we recommend you form teams with your friends and collaborators before purchasing your tickets.
Tickets will go on sale this Friday, October 30.
